The Local History Group has been one of our most successful and popular groups since the start of our u3a. We have a varied programme each year comprising talks from visiting speakers and our own members, usually illustrated with slides, trips to local places of historical interest and the occasional interactive meeting where we share our own personal family histories.

The meetings are held in the Community Room at Cheadle library on the first Wednesday in the month at 1.30.
